Judging (Even Deeper) ~ Devan Britt

Now there is a huge debate about the scripture that reads in Matthew 1:7 "Do not judge others, and you will not be judged." Also in the next verse it reads. "For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard by which you will be judge." Be for I get into it and reveal what God spoke to my heart about judging we must first understand why someone will judge and what is judgment. Ok.. Now why would someone judge? Some judge to help and fix a problem. Correct someone in his/her wrong doing or even good doing. Ok now what is Judgement? This is where the problem is! It seem that the body and also the world falls short on that question. Never the less lets dig a little deeper. For example... When two or three come to a disagreement or a bad problem they go to court. In court they speak out saying "I will tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth." I never been to court so I hope that is what they say but you get the point haha. Anyway both the parties have to be honest to get and honest judgement. The judge has to get both sides of the story to better understand it he will not come to a conclusion until he has understanding of both parties. Both parties have to have proven facts in their argument or it will mean nothing. Then he has to lay down the law and reveal the rights and wrongs. Us as ppl sometimes don't take the time out to understand someone and their point of view and gather facts to prove a point. That we make the problem worst. Now that person we have just judge has the right to judge us now it becomes an argument. "Judge not and you will not be judge." The bible never said DONT JUDGE. We all need to be judge in some area to get better or understand we have done something wrong. BUT DO NOT JUDGE OUT OF POUR ANGER BECAUSE SOMEONE DID SOMETHING YOU DIDNT AGREE WITH! God will judge us by facts not by what ppl say, how we look or speak, not where we come from. By our actions and our hearts we will be judged. Division comes when there is a lack of understanding, facts and proven grounds. ~Devan Britt
